US Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) is questioning whether Banque Pictet & Cie SA, the Swiss private bank and asset manager, fully revealed to US prosecutors how it is alleged to have helped Americans evade taxes, including a billionaire with a $255 million account.
Wyden, chair of the Senate Finance Committee, wrote Thursday to the bank’s managing partner with questions about its handling of accounts held by the billionaire, referred to in the letter as Person 1.
