Global professional services firm Accenture won a transfer pricing dispute in Denmark after the Danish Supreme Court ruled in favor of the company, overturning a lower court’s ruling.
The high court ruled Thursday that the Danish Tax Authority hadn’t shown that Accenture A/S’s documentation was deficient and failed to prove that the transactions in question weren’t made at arm’s length.
Transfer pricing involves valuation of transactions between related entities within a corporate group. The transactions must be conducted at arm’s length—priced similarly to transactions between unrelated companies.
