Alabama Provides Other Expenses Covered by Catastrophe Savings Accounts

The Alabama Governor signed a law that includes: 1) providing for other expenses covered by a catastrophe savings account; and 2) capping the amount contributed to catastrophe savings accounts to cover expenses. The law takes effect on Oct. 1. [H.B. 27, enacted 02/24/26]
