Alaska Lawmakers Confirm New Department of Revenue Commissioner

The Alaska Legislature confirmed Adam Crum as the state’s Department of Revenue commissioner Tuesday.

Crum most recently served as the state’s commissioner of the Department of Health and Social Services. Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R) appointed Crum to the revenue department position in November 2022. Before joining the Dunleavy administration, Crum was executive vice president of his family’s company, Northern Industrial Training.

Crum has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University.
