The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency in western New York voted unanimously Wednesday to give a $124 million subsidy package to Amazon.com Inc. to build a new fulfillment center.
The approved tax break is among the largest state subsidy programs awarded to the Seattle-based e-commerce giant, behind a $750 million deal to build the company’s headquarters in Arlington, Va., and a $322 million tax break to build a distribution center in Illinois, according to a database of tax incentives compiled by Good Jobs First.
