A new Supreme Court ruling on government property seizure doesn’t give an Arizona property dispute a new avenue in court, the US District Court for the District of Arizona said Tuesday.
The court dismissed a case brought by Christine Searle over a piece of property she formerly owned, which is now worth about $400,000 to $500,000. Arapaho LLC bought two tax liens against the property in 2021 after she accrued a $1,600 tax debt and commenced foreclosure proceedings on one of them,.
