Australia Tax Agency Announces General, Shortfall Interest Charge Rates for Q2 2026

The Australian Taxation Office March 6 announced the general interest charge (GIC) and shortfall interest charge (SIC) rates for Q2 2026. The announcement includes: 1) the GIC rates of 10.96 percent annually, and 0.03002740 percent daily; and 2) the SIC rates of 6.96 percent annually, and 0.01906849 percent daily.
