Bahrain Lower House Approves Bill Constitutionality to Ratify Bahrain-Saudi Arabia DTA, Accension to MCAA-AEOI Annex

The Bahraini lower house of parliament (Majlis Al-Nuwab) April 13 approved the constitutionality of two bills to ratify: 1) the DTA with Saudi Arabia, signed Dec. 3, 2025; and 2) Bahrain’s accession to the Annex to the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement (MCAA) on the automatic exchange of information (AEOI) on financial accounts.
