BGOV Bill Summary: Fiscal 2023 Omnibus-Appropriations Provisions

The federal government would be funded through fiscal 2023 under the proposed Senate amendment to H.R. 2617, which also would provide about $45 billion in emergency funding for Ukraine and about $38 billion in disaster aid for areas affected by drought, hurricanes, and other natural disasters.

The measure would provide about $1.7 trillion across the 12 regular spending bills, including $772.5 billion in nondefense spending, a $42.5 billion boost over the fiscal 2022 level, and $858 billion in defense spending, a $76 billion increase, according to a Senate Appropriations Committee summary.
