Big Four Accounting Firms Own 87 Percent of Tax-Advising Market

The Big Four accounting firms dominate tax-advising work, controlling 87 percent of the fast-growing sector.

The global market grew by 8.6 percent in 2018 to $2.2 billion for clients with revenue above $500 million, according to a Jan. 28 report from Source Global Research. It expects rapid growth over the next few years. The major firms are Deloitte LLP, Ernst & Young LLP, KPMG LLP, and PwC, also known as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
