Two lawyers have emerged as frontrunners to replace David Boies as the next leader of Boies Schiller Flexner, the law firm he built into a national litigation powerhouse.

Matthew Schwartz and Sigrid McCawley are likely to be the top candidates for chair-in-waiting when the firm’s partners vote next month, according to three sources familiar with the situation.
