Booz Allen Says Sen. Scott Tax Leak Suit Was Filed Too Late (1)

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) waited too long to file a lawsuit over the leak of his personal tax information and his suit must therefore be thrown out, according to Booz Allen Hamilton, the target of his litigation.

Scott sued the contractor earlier this year but his tax returns were first made public almost five years ago, far outstripping the four-year statute of limitations on these claims, Booz Allen said in a Tuesday motion to dismiss Scott’s suit.
