Brazil May Drop IOF Tax on Supplier Financing Operations: Folha

Proposal from the Brazilian government that will be presented on a conciliation hearing on Tuesday should not include charging the IOF tax on supplier financing operations, local newspaper Folha de S. Paulo reported citing three sources with knowledge of the matter.

• Government’s intention is to preserve the remainder of the decree that was overturned by Congress
