Brazil is seeking input on plans to update rules on transfer pricing transactions that would take effect next year.
Receita Federal, the country’s revenue authority, opened a consultation Thursday seeking comment on a specific provision in legislation passed last year on calculating intra-group transactions and the consultation process on advanced pricing agreements.
Advanced pricing agreements (APAs) are binding pacts establishing an agreed transfer pricing methodology for a set of transactions over a fixed period of time. Transfer pricing refers to transactions between related companies that are part of groups.
