Brazil Tax Agency Updates Digital Tax Bookkeeping System

The Brazilian Federal Revenue Office May 12 announced the release of an updated digital tax bookkeeping system (ECF version 12.1.4) for reporting tax information on corporate income tax (IRPJ) and social contributions on net income (CSLL). The updates include: 1) improvements to the software installer; 2) the availability and updating of new tables; 3) Block S, for football corporations (SAFs) subject to the Specific Taxation Regime for Football (TEF); 4) bug fixes; and 5) performance improvements.
