Bush-Era Lawyer Picked by Trump to Serve as Top IRS Attorney (1)

President Donald Trump nominated former IRS chief counsel Donald Korb to be the top lawyer again at the tax agency.

Korb would take over the spot after Marjorie Rollinson resigned at the end of the Biden administration, and join the IRS as it faces unprecedented turmoil. The chief counsel role is one of two Senate-confirmed positions, in addition to the commissioner.
