More California families would get tax relief under a bill introduced in the legislature Tuesday.
A.B. 1690, introduced by Assemblymember Patrick Ahrens (D), would expand California’s Young Child Tax Credit to all families who are eligible for the California Earned Income Tax Credit, regardless of the age of their children. Both are programs for low income individuals and families, with the young child tax credit going to those with children under the age of 6.
