Colorado DOR Proposes Amending Excise Tax Regulation Regarding Marijuana

The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) Aug. 1 proposed amending a regulation regarding marijuana for excise tax purposes. The proposal includes measures to: 1) implement the provisions of SB 24-076; 2) revise the terms Harvest Batch and Production Batch; 3) revise and clarify rules for improved agency and licensee operations; and 4) remove specific provisions regarding excise tax payment requirements for certain facilities.
