Colorado Expands Middle-Income Housing Tax Credit, Provides for Recapture

The Colorado Governor signed a law that includes: 1) providing that taxpayers subject to income tax and transferred a middle-income housing tax credit by a governmental entity or quasi-governmental entity can claim the credit without owning an interest in a qualified project; and 2) providing for a credit recapture amount under certain circumstances.
