Court Orders Canada to Be Specific in Tax Fight With Cameco

Canada’s tax court is compelling the Canada Revenue Agency to provide more information on why transactions were not arm’s length in a transfer pricing dispute with uranium miner Cameco Corp.

However, the Tax Court of Canada also rejected in a ruling published Monday requests in a Cameco motion that the court force the CRA to return hundreds of millions of dollars in the dispute, limit what the CRA can argue at trial, or make deep changes to the agency’s filings.
