A former Federal Housing Administration loan officer convicted of false statements to obtain a mortgage won’t get a chance for a new trial.
The US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit affirmed Jason Trador’s conviction on five counts of knowingly making false statements and willfully overvaluing property, disregarding his appeal challenging the sufficiency of evidence. The panel said the evidence shows he provided false bank statements in an FHA loan application.
