Congressional tax writers are starting to tackle issues not included in their $3.4 trillion tax-and-spending package, beginning this morning with a look at digital asset policy.

Representatives from the Blockchain Association and Fidelity Investments are among those set to testify about tax policy for cryptocurrency at a House Ways and Means oversight subcommittee hearing. At least some GOP lawmakers see the the potential for bipartisanship in the space.
