Bipartisan Senate Crypto Talks Resume
Talks among senators on a bipartisan, broad crypto regulation package are now heating up, after being stalled by the ongoing government shutdown.
Senate Agriculture Committee Chair John Boozman (R-Ark.) said he’s meeting daily with Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) to finalize their portion of a bill establishing a regulatory regime for crypto. Boozman, whose panel has jurisdiction over digital assets treated as commodities, teased a possible committee vote before Thanksgiving.
