Czech Court Confirms More Tax Adjustments for Johnson Controls

The Czech Republic’s Supreme Administrative Court confirmed Friday two additional tax adjustments involving a Johnson Controls subsidiary as part of the multinational group’s restructuring.

For the fiscal year from Oct. 1, 2012, to Sept. 30, 2013, the court confirmed the additional corporate income tax assessment of 153.8 million Czech koruna ($7.35 million), the cancellation of a 48.1 million koruna tax loss, and 31.2 million koruna in penalties against Johnson Controls Czech s.r.o.
