The leader of the Czech Republic’s main opposition party said he would push for a 100% tax on home purchases by non-EU residents — in line with a Spanish proposal announced Monday.
“If we are in government, I will advocate that we take the same measures here,” billionaire former premier Andrej Babiš said Thursday in an article published by Czech internet daily Echo24.cz.
