Democratic Republic of the Congo Tax Agency Announces January 2026 Declaration Deadline for Various Taxes

The Congolese Direction Generale des Impots Feb. 4 issued Official Communique No. 01/007, announcing the Feb. 15 deadline to file January 2026 tax returns. The deadline applies to filing and paying: 1) monthly withholding of individual income tax (IRPP) on income from movable capital, and capital gains; 2) the exceptional levy on companies employing expatriate personnel (DPE); 3) the levy on amounts paid to nonresident service providers (DPS); 4) the levy on income from movable capital paid to nonresident individuals (DPCM); and 5) VAT.
