Democrats Renew Push for Union-Backed Labor Law Overhaul

Congressional Democrats announced the reintroduction of the most significant update to federal labor law in decades Thursday, backing up their promises to union supporters.

The PRO Act would amend the National Labor Relations Act to strengthen workers’ rights to organize and win union contracts. It has support from all but a handful of Democrats, as well as from several House Republicans.
