A plan to levy a 3% tax on digital companies providing services to users in Poland appeared Tuesday on the government’s legislative agenda, marking a key advancement for the project.
The project is planned for adoption by the Council of Ministers, the Polish government’s highest decision-making body, in the third quarter of this year. Its formal inclusion on the legislative agenda was required before government committees, and ultimately the council, could begin work on the proposal.
