District of Columbia Provides Foundation With Property Tax Exemption

The District of Columbia Mayor signed a law that includes providing a real property tax exemption for certain property owned by the Mu Lambda Foundation, Inc., subject to certain conditions. The law is applicable as of Oct. 1, 2025. The law takes effect following a 30-day period of congressional review. [B26-0221, enacted 04/24/26]
