DOJ Reiterates Legality of IRS Sharing Immigrant Taxpayers’ Info

The Justice Department’s Tax Division again defended the IRS’s information sharing agreement with the Homeland Security Department, arguing that groups providing services to immigrants can’t prove they suffered any damages or that the government is violating the taxpayer privacy guarantees in IRC Section 6103.
