The Dominican General Directorate of Internal Revenue May 6 announced a six-month extension, to May 15, to the deadline for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and unclassified taxpayers to implement the mandatory e-invoicing regime. The announcement also includes that: 1) the extension applies automatically, without request; and 2) taxpayers who fail to transition to e-invoicing by the extended deadline will be subject to penalties for noncompliance.
