Businesses may have different points of view on OECD’s digital tax plan, but that shouldn’t halt progress on the project, a representative of business interests to the organization said.
“Without broad and deep international consensus, chaos is the almost inevitable outcome of where we are now,” said Will Morris, deputy global tax policy leader at PwC and chair of the tax committee at Business at the OECD, an advisory group. He spoke at a Nov. 21 public consultation at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s headquarters in Paris.
