Ecuador’s Gonzalez Pledges VAT Cut in First 100 Days in Office

Ecuador presidential candidate Luisa Gonzalez of leftwing party Citizen Revolution pledged to cut the value-added tax, a key element of a current funding deal with the IMF, if she wins the upcoming election, she said in an interview with Mexican magazine Sufragio.
