The IRS and Treasury Department are aiming to release guidance on the new restrictions to the clean energy tax credits enacted by the GOP’s tax-and-spending package in the third quarter, an official said.
“We do plan to get out guidance by the end of the year,” said Kevin Salinger, the deputy assistant secretary for tax policy at the Treasury Department said. He was speaking at the NYU Federal Real Estate and Partnership Conference. “I’m hoping to push it into Q3.”
