EU Countries Push Back Against Minimum Tax Tweaks

Some EU countries don’t want to consider changes to their global minimum tax law before they have a better understanding of the US’ demands, according to people familiar with the matter.

At a meeting on Tuesday, Poland, which holds the EU’s rotating presidency, proposed various amendments to the law in a bid to appease the US, which argues the legislation treats US companies unfairly.
