Ex-Coca-Cola Counsel Leads PYA’s New International Tax Service

Tax and accounting firm PYA has tapped a former Coca-Cola Co. senior tax counsel to lead a new service helping clients navigate international tax planning and strategy.

The company announced in a statement Wednesday that Joseph Engel will lead the group, which will help clients plan and execute international tax strategies.

The new service will also support clients in controversy management, work on new business models and intercompany transactions, and assist with capital structuring and repatriation for global procurement, information systems, and intellectual property, the statement said.
