Ex-Iowa Revenue Director Named IRS Tax Experience Deputy Chief

Courtney Kay-Decker has been named the deputy chief taxpayer experience officer at the IRS, the agency said Friday.

She has served as director of the Iowa Department of Revenue from 2011-19 and on the Board of Trustees of the Federation of Tax Administrators, and was formerly an attorney at Lane & Waterman.

Kay-Decker was also the first state co-chair of the Identity Theft and Tax Refund Fraud Information Sharing Analysis Center.
