EY Aims to Double Northern Ireland Workforce With North-West Hub

Ernst and Young LLP said Wednesday it is aiming to more than double the size of its Northern Ireland arm after receiving government support for expansion in the region.

The Big Four firm said that it will add 1,000 jobs in the province over the next five years, bringing its total to 1,900. The jobs will be in the capital Belfast and at a new regional hub in the north-west of the region, according to a Wednesday statement.

A spokesperson said the exact location and timing of the new hub’s opening had not been decided.
