EY Appoints Anthony as First Female UK and Ireland Boss

Ernst and Young has appointed its first female boss in the UK, as it splits the roles of managing partner and chair.

Managing Partner of UK Financial Services Anna Anthony will become UK & Ireland Regional Managing Partner on Jan. 1, 2025, the Big Four firm said in a statement Monday. She takes over in the leadership role from Hywel Ball, who remains as UK chair until a replacement is announced next year.
