EY Canada Names Chief Operating Officer to Take Over as Next CEO

A 25-year employee of Ernst & Young will become the next chair and chief executive officer of the Big Four firm’s Canadian affiliate.

Alycia Calvert will replace Jad Shimaly effective July 1, the firm announced Monday.

Shimaly is leaving to become EY global managing partner of client service, focusing on quality, growth, and go-to-market across all four of the firm’s service lines, according to the announcement.
