Feds Drop Liens on Diamond Mogul’s Widow, Heir Pays $63 Million

Federal prosecutors agreed to voluntarily stop pursuing tax liens encumbering the property of diamond mogul Chaim Lax’s widow, Judith, after their son agreed to pay $63.2 million in estate and income tax liabilities.
