The Senate Finance Committee scheduled a July 24 hearing for three Treasury Department nominees and a U.S. Tax Court judge.
In a July 17 announcement, Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said the nominations under consideration are:
- Brent James McIntosh of Michigan as undersecretary of the Treasury, succeeding David Malpass, who resigned;
- Brian Callanan of New Jersey to succeed McIntosh as general counsel of the department;
- Brian McGuire of New York to be deputy undersecretary, succeeding Andrew K. Maloney, who resigned; and
- Travis Greaves of the District of Columbia to be a Tax Court ...
