Finnish Finance Minister Riikka Purra promised Thursday that the government wouldn’t propose a tax increase “this election period.”
“If the government’s fiscal policy goal of stopping the growth of the debt ratio seems to be slipping away, which is possible, I am ready to make the necessary additional adjustment with clean spending cuts from the state’s budget economy,” she said during an address at an event held by the Central Chamber of Commerce.
