Individuals and households that reside in Broward County, Fla., now have until Aug. 15, 2023, to file federal individual and business tax returns and make payments, the IRS said Tuesday.
The IRS is offering relief as a result of tornadoes, severe storms, and flooding that took place from April 12-14.
The Aug. 15 deadline also includes quarterly estimated tax payments typically due on April 18 and June 15, as well as 2022 contributions to IRAs and health savings accounts, the agency said.
