The government is seeking to bar a Florida man and his business from preparing federal tax returns after accusing them of doctoring thousands of returns, according to a complaint Friday.
Dieuseul Jean-Louis of Homestead, Florida, was accused by the government of preparing over 2,200 tax returns from 2019 to 2023 that understated customer’s tax liabilities, overstated their refunds to the government, and then gave those customers altered tax returns.
