Daniel Shackle joined Frost Brown Todd as counsel in its municipal practice in Indianapolis, the firm announced Monday.
Shackle focuses his practice on local and state government and public finance matters, including tax legislation, budgeting, and assessment, the firm said.
He previously was the commissioner of the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance.
