House to Take Up IRS Funding Bill
The House is expected to vote early this week on a package to fund government agencies that include the IRS and Treasury Department, resolving a short lapse in appropriations.
The Senate passed the package late Friday. The legislation includes five appropriations bills that last through the end of the current fiscal year, plus a two-week stopgap for the Department of Homeland Security.
