The US energy company asked the agencies in a letter released this week to publish a list of technologies that produce no greenhouse gas emissions in the generation of electricity—including wind, solar, hydropower, and nuclear—and for the rules to make clear that these technologies won’t have to perform a lifecycle analysis used to assess the environmental impact of a project.
