The Georgia Governor signed a law authorizing Madison County Probate Court to assess and collect a technology fee up to $10.00 for the filing of each civil action in the court, and a surcharge up to $10.00 for each fine assessed by the court. The law authorizing the fee shall terminate on July 1, 2031. [H.B. 1084, enacted 05/11/26]
