GOP Takes Aim at OECD’s Minimum Tax Ahead of Paris Trip

House Ways and Means Committee lawmakers will soon leave for OECD headquarters in Paris to make their case to push back against the undertaxed profits rule in the OECD’s global tax deal.

The timing depends in part on Republicans resolving its standoff with the Biden administration over raising the debt-ceiling, expected to come to a head in coming days.

Before lawmakers depart, the panel is expected to unveil legislation taking aim at the UTPR, according to a GOP Ways and Means staffer.
